REC Engineering Company Limited ("REC", formerly known as "Ryoden Engineering Company Limited") a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yau Lee Group since 31 May 2008, was established in Hong Kong in 1966 as an electrical and mechanical engineering contractor. Today, as one of the Hong Kong's largest engineering companies with a workforce of over 750, REC provides all aspects of electrical and mechanical services such as air-conditioning, electrical installation, fire prevention and fire fighting, plumbing & drainage, building automation systems, and engineering maintenance services. Our clients include the HKSAR Government and private sector parties with projects such as metro railway stations and depots, electric power plants, hospitals, residential, industrial and commercial buildings.

REC has also made contributions to environmental protection. Not only it specializes in environmental engineering projects such as sewage treatment plant, pumping station, electrochlorination, and automated refuse collection system, its branches develop partnership with clients in creating greener and healthier living environment. For example, Tin Sing Chemical Engineers Limited ("TSC") , serves both public and private clients with their water treatment expertise. REC Green Technologies Company Limited ("RGT") and REC Green Energy Solution Company Limited ("RGE"), with their competency in green building and energy optimization technologies, address clientsˇ new construction and renovation needs.

REC entered the Macao market with the Westin Hotel plumbing and drainage installation contract in the 1990ˇs. Its Macao Branch Office was established in 2003 to support multiple site offices and projects. Today, REC is being regarded as a prominent E&M contractor in Macao and is engaging in several casino construction projects.

Furthermore, REC pioneered China market in the 1980ˇs providing HVAC installation service for the White Swan Hotel & Commercial Building through its wholly owned subsidiary REC (China) Co., Ltd. ("RCC", formerly known as "Ryoden (China) Co., Ltd."). With China entering WTO, REC M&E Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited (RCS), a wholly owned subsidiary of RCC established in 2003 in Shanghai, has acquired the M&E Installation General Contractor Grade A License since March 2006 to respond to market change and to prepare for business development in all fronts. Projects include five-star hotels, shopping centres, commercial and residential buildings as well as manufacturing plants in major cities across China.
